Effective and last updated: October 18, 2026. This policy covers the current Rawabit mobile app, developed by Mohammed Saer (the “Developer”), and its support and legal pages at rawabitapp.pages.dev.

1. Local app data

Rawabit stores saved URLs, titles, collections, tags, notes, favorites, save dates, preview information and images, and appearance and text-size preferences locally. Links sent through your device’s share menu may be kept locally until successfully imported.

The current app has no user accounts, Developer-operated library synchronization, advertising, usage analytics, automatic crash reporting, or push notifications. We do not sell your library or share it for advertising.

2. Link previews and network requests

When a link is added, the app may automatically retrieve its title, description, image, or icon, including in the background after saving. It contacts the linked website and the image or icon sources referenced by that page. Opening a link also connects to the relevant external website or app.

Those providers may receive your IP address, the requested URL and information within it, and ordinary technical connection information, under their own policies. Local storage does not mean the app makes no external requests. Some URLs or preview sources may use unencrypted HTTP rather than HTTPS.

3. Clipboard and sharing

The app reads clipboard text when you choose Paste and copies a URL when you request it. Sharing a bookmark passes its URL to the destination you select through your device’s share tools. The receiving app handles it under its own policy. Rawabit does not publish your library to a public feed.

4. Retention, deletion, and device backups

Your bookmarks and preferences remain locally until changed, deleted, or removed with the app’s data. You can manage bookmarks in the app. Deleting a bookmark removes its library record but may leave cached preview images and metadata until the app’s data is fully removed.

To remove local data completely, delete the app and its data on iOS, or clear its storage or uninstall it on Android. Offloading an iOS app may retain its data. The Developer cannot remotely access, erase, or restore your local library.

Operating-system backups or device transfers may include app data depending on your settings and provider. These are not Rawabit-operated synchronization. Manage and delete those backups through the relevant provider; restoring a backup may restore previous data.

5. This website and external providers

These pages use Cloudflare Pages hosting. Cloudflare processes technical connection information, such as IP addresses and request information, to deliver and protect the service under its Privacy Policy. We add no advertising, analytics, or library-upload forms to these pages. External websites, hosting, and email providers may process requests in different countries under their policies.

6. Support and your rights

If you email us, the Developer receives your email address, message, and any information you choose to attach, to respond and handle your request. Support correspondence is used for that purpose and relevant legal obligations and retained only as needed for those purposes. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information or your library.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of support correspondence and exercise other rights available under applicable law by emailing us. Manage your local library directly on your device as explained above. This policy does not limit your legal rights or your right to complain to the competent authority.

7. Security, children, and changes

Local data relies on your device and operating-system protections. No device or connection can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device updated and protect access to it.

Rawabit is not specifically directed at children and does not ask them to create accounts or submit personal information. A guardian may contact us about personal information a child sends in a support message. We will handle such requests under applicable law.

We may update this policy when practices or features change, revise its effective date, provide appropriate notice of material changes, and seek consent where legally required.
